Background
Monica Gruosso was born in Potenza, Italy, on 24/04/1992. She graduated with honors in Computer Engineering at the University of Basilicata, Italy, in July 2018.
In 2018, She joined the DiMIE, Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Economics, at the University of Basilicata, Potenza (Italy), where She completed the Ph.D. in Mathematics and Computer Science under the supervision of Dott. Ugo Erra with a thesis entitled "Human Segmentation with Deep Convolutional Neural Networks".
Her research interests include deep learning, computer vision, and image/video processing.
